BIO
Carrie Watts Bio
Long Bio:
Carrie Watts is a new author of her debut YA Christian Fiction novel, Crisis of Faith. She is actively engaging with audiences through speaking, podcasting, and guest appearances at blogs and conferences.
With a background as a registered nurse, Carrie has always had a passion for caring for others. This dedication was recognized when she received the Florence Nightingale Award at graduation in 1994. Over the years, she has directed a Classical Conversations homeschool co-op, managed family commercial property, and nurtured her writing talent. Teaching her sons to write sparked an awakening of the God-given creativity she had long suppressed.
Carrie's writing journey began before computers; she filled notebooks with letters, notes from classes and church, and devotionals for her husband during his travels. As life circumstances shifted, she found more time to dedicate to writing, transforming a hobby into a calling to tell stories of hope and healing.
Crisis of Faith invites readers to experience a range of emotions, prompting reflections on their own faith journeys. Carrie's testimony, filled with childhood secrets and experiences of trauma, adds depth to her characters and themes.
In addition to writing, Carrie finds release through running, pickleball, and workouts at the gym. She leads a small group and provides spiritual counseling at Pinelake Church, focusing on empowering young Christian women to rediscover their childlike faith and deepen their trust in Jesus.
Carrie prays that her work will change hearts for the Kingdom of God. As one beta reader noted, "Wow! You are a talented writer and a formidable witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the right hands, this book will change lives."

A formidable witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
"Wow! You are a talented writer and a formidable witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the right hands, this book will change lives." - Beta Reader
Carrie's passion and enthusiasm is so contagious and it's a blessing to have met her.
"I am Madeline. I met Carrie at a local gift shop when we struck up a conversation about the book she was working on. She was in the early stages and was having some apprehension about moving forward with it. As a mother of three young ladies, I was instantly drawn to hear more about this Christian book she was writing. When I learned that one of the main character's name is Faith, it was an instant connection because I have a daughter named Faith. Carrie's passion and enthusiasm is so contagious and it's a blessing to have met her. Excited to help spread the word about her new book!"
“Crisis of Faith is a poignant tale which focuses on delicate issues in a direct and loving manner.”
Watts is a formidable witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while weaving a fast-paced story which reveals spiritual truths and addresses earthly betrayals. You’ll feel like you are a new Christian again as you consume Watts’ words. A book to share.”
